About Me

I Have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember, but worked in various jobs before I decided that I need to follow my heart and become a professional photographer. So I quit my job as a casino manager and set myself up as a freelance photographer.

I am committed to producing the finest photographs using only the best quality materials. I work primarily in digital but can also produce traditional colour or black and white film photography upon request.

Since I quit my job, I have been through some tough times, some crazy times, some lean times but mostly some very happy times.

In my time as a photographer, I have covered a variety of subjects, met some great people and had some amazing experiences.

I have worked for the advertising department of a local Newspaper in Derby.

I have worked for a press agency covering news topics as diverse as Miss United Kingdom, football fans demonstrating against the FA, Opening nights for theatre shows, politician visits and commemorative events for soldiers and Police killed in the line of duty.

I have done jobs for big companies such as Aston Martin and Speedo.

I have covered major sporting evens in Athletics, Tennis and Horse racing.

I have covered Music concerts ranging from The Pogues and The Sugar Babes to international super stars such as Lional Richie.

I have done numerous events – book launches, celebrity evenings, corporate lunches etc

As well as the regular things such as portraiture, product photography, promotional images and model portfolios.

Spreading myself thin? Maybe! But the variety makes it fun and each genre offers up its own set of challenges.

Recently I’ve developed a passion for passing on the knowledge I have gained over the past 15 years. For Me teaching photography to people who want to learn how to improve their images is a greatly rewarding experience.
